Volunteers are what this organization runs on. You will enjoy your Odyssey of the Mind experience if you get involved. Each and every volunteer is needed and the time you volunteer is greatly appreciated. Judges training will be held at Natomas HS in Sacramento; date has yet to be determined.
Each team will be required to provide one volunteer for a two hour job on competition day. Here are a few ways you can help:

Judges do NOT need experience. There will be a training session before the tournament where you will learn everything you know to fill this valuable position!
Judge a Long-Term Problem - this will require you to train one Saturday morning in January or February and be available all day the day of competition, you will not be able to watch or judge your child's performance; BUT will have a fun-filled day watching others present their solutions.
Judge Spontaneous Problem-this will require you to train one Saturday morning in January or February and be available all day the day of competition, you will not be able to judge in the Division your child is competing; it will require you spend the competition day judging; you will not be able to watch your child perform.
Two-hour volunteer are needed to help in judges hospitality, sales, registration and information and spontaneous check-in.
